About Cavalier Lighting

Cavalier Lighting was founded in 2023 by Justin Rouches and Julee Mondeau in Buckeye, Arizona. We build off-road LED lighting — light bars, pods, chase lights, and vehicle-specific kits for UTVs, side-by-sides, and trucks.

We started the company to fill a void in this market. On one side there is generic off-road lighting that fails early and never performs the way the listing claims. On the other there are the big-name brands, charging a premium a lot of riders cannot justify. There was very little in between. Cavalier found its niche as exactly that: a high-performance LED lighting brand in the mid price point market.

We sit on the western edge of the Phoenix valley, which means the desert we design for starts about fifteen minutes from our door. That proximity is the whole point. Lighting that looks impressive in a spec sheet and lighting that works at speed in dust are two different products.

We build around usable light, not lumen numbers

The easiest thing to do in this industry is print a big number on a box. Raw lumens are simple to inflate and nearly useless on their own — a light can produce enormous output and still blind you with backscatter the moment you hit dust, or throw a wide wash that dies fifty yards out when what you needed was reach.

So we design for the light that actually lands where you are looking. We shape the beam with cone optics to control where output goes and, just as importantly, where it does not. The goal is a clean pattern that reaches far without glare or scatter, holds up in dust and on tight trails, and still makes sense at high speed in open desert.

That approach means our numbers sometimes look more modest than a competitor's. We would rather tell you what a light does than what it could theoretically do on a bench.

Where our products are made, stated plainly

Most brands in this category are vague about this. We would rather just tell you.

Our LED line is produced by overseas manufacturing partners, and we work directly with them on the development of the underlying technology — the drivers, thermal design, and optics behind each light. We are not choosing finished products out of a catalog and printing our name on them. The specification is ours, developed and revised based on what actually survives and performs out here.

All brackets and vehicle-specific fitments are designed and fabricated in the USA from domestic and imported materials. That is the part where fitment either works or does not, and it is the part we keep closest to home. A bracket designed for a specific Can-Am X3 or Tacoma has to line up with factory mounting points on the first try, hold true under vibration, and not crack in year two. We design them here and we fabricate them here.

Built to survive being used

Off-road lighting lives a hard life — vibration, heat, water, mud, rock strikes, pressure washers. We build for that, because a light that fails in month four was not cheap, it was expensive.

We also build for real setups rather than one ideal configuration. Our Apex Series covers a range of sizes and mounting options, the Apex 5 Dual switches between white and yellow output for changing conditions, T2 pods handle tight mounting locations, and the V2 Chase Light covers the rear. Alongside those we carry mounting solutions, switch panels, and wiring accessories, so a build comes together as one system instead of parts that almost fit.

None of this is built to be the cheapest option on the page, and it is not priced like a trophy either. We would rather sell you a light you stop thinking about than one you replace next season or one you had to justify to yourself.

Lifetime warranty on everything we build

Every product Cavalier Lighting makes carries a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. If one of our lights fails, we take care of it — you talk to the people who developed it, not a call center.

We are straight with you about one limit: we also carry products from other off-road brands we believe in, including Blue Line Whips, Chicken Corners Off Road, and DirtBag Brands. Those are covered by their own manufacturers' warranties rather than ours. Full terms are on our warranty page.

Buy direct, or from a shop near you

We ship nationwide from Buckeye, so you can order anything on this site directly from us. We also work with authorized dealers across the United States — if you would rather have someone install it, or you want to see the light in person first, use our dealer locator to find the closest one.

If you run an off-road shop, powersports dealership, or install business and want to carry our line, we would like to hear from you. Start with our dealer inquiry form.

Talk to an actual person

We are a small, owner-run operation, which is the reason you can reach us easily.

  • Phone or text: (602) 890-2277, 8am–5pm Arizona time
  • Email: info@cavalierlighting.com — we answer within one business day, usually much sooner
  • Where we are: Buckeye, Arizona

If you are not sure which light fits your vehicle or how to wire it, ask before you buy. We would rather spend ten minutes getting it right than process a return.
